Info: ”Our song Love Lost was aimed to be a very chill song, something you could sit back and relax to, which was the reason why we used the lo-fi style sound and added reverb to the vocals to make that “floaty” sound.”
Comments: Chill vibes is what they were going for and they absolutely nailed it. From the opening crackles of an old beat up vinyl, “Love Lost” immediately starts in a relaxed state. As soon as the melancholy vocals jump in, you know this is probably the right song for your next contemplative mushroom trip. Seriously though, for the duo’s very first song, and only being 15 and 16 years old, “Love Lost” seems extremely advanced and mature. For a band still trying to find their direction, you couldn’t ask for a better start. Youthful exuberance, brisk and sensual experimental soundscapes over smooth R&B beats; along with engulfing lyrics, LLORIENT. is a young duo to keep a keen ear out for. We will be.
