Info: “One of the things this album explores is the emotional and creative experience of geometric space,” explains the band’s Evan Stephens Hall. “‘Intrepid’, in particular, considers distance and the outer rim of the magnet’s pull; how the size of the world can bring our personal relationships into focus.”

Comments: Pinegrove proved what the hype was all about with one of my absolute favorite sets at Shaky Knees earlier this year. Blew me away all around. It’s clear with “Intrepid” that the band isn’t resting on it’s laurels, and instead is ready to take yet another leap forward. Pinegrove is set to leave a mark on a lot of people for a long time.
