Info: The Hails’ newest song, “Younger”, is a fresh direction for the young band out of Gainesville, FL. Recorded in Miami, FL with engineer & producer Matt Lewin, Younger fuses elements of modern alternative rock and 70’s groove-oriented pop. The Hails display a newfound pop sensibility while holding the high level of confidence displayed in their live shows. The Hails are comprised of lead singer Robbie Kingsley, guitarist Dylan McCue, guitarist & vocalist Franco Solari, bassist Andre Escobar, and drummer Zach Levy.
Comments: “Younger” is one of those songs that you just want to get lost in it’s breezy world over and over. What starts as perhaps a 70’s AM Gold influenced track, hits it’s stride when the synths start to hit in the middle, taking the song over the top with a chorus that will have you hitting repeat before the song is even totally done. The soulful and playful vocals really capture the aesthetic, and funky grooves with spaced out synths really ensures that The Hails are a young band ready to land at the top of your radar.
