On this cool Atlanta evening, Newark Wilder opened up the night with a good ole fashioned three piece set at 529. These young lads brought the heat with their funkadelic style and heavy hitting baselines. Newark Wilder are prepping their much buzzed about debut album, Vanessa Atalanta, due out March 18th via The Cottage Recording Co.
Small Reactions stepped up to the plate second to bridge the gap between the new school vibes of Wilder and smoothly transitioned into the middle era of modern -rock. The intimate setting of the venue complimented the intense electric vibes of their arrangements. Small Reactions are currently working out details on their sophomore release after their phenomenal debut album Similar Phantoms.
Lastly to the stage, Mara. They stole the show by finishing the evening with some rawness. They brought a true genuine feel to their name and it’s meaning. Red lights for the emotions, blue lights for the organized commotion. Mara recently released an EP of demos from their upcoming full length album, listen here.
