Natural Child Shares Their Tracks On Repeat on our Monomania Playlist

0

In September, Nashville rockers Natural Child dropped their latest album, Okey Dokey, and set out on tour behind the stellar new album. With the band returning to Atlanta tonight, invading East Atlanta Village at The EARL, we asked the band to take over our Monomania playlist, with a few tracks that are currently living in the band’s head. Some would consider Natural Child a throwback of sorts, to the days of The Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd or ZZ Top. Sure on the surface that’s what you may hear, but this is a band in 2016 with their own modern influences (which is why we wanted to see their responses for Monomania) seeping into their love of pure rock ‘n’ roll music. Natural Child’s psych game is strong, just check out Okey Dokey for further evidence, they are southern at the core, they know how to properly jam out while keeping it interesting, and yet they aren’t afraid to let their inner punks shine through. The truth is Natural Child is bringing the hippie to the hipster world and we are all better for it.

Check out 5 songs that Natural Child is currently loving from drummer Zack Martin on our Monomania Spotify Playlist (below), and don’t miss them on tour now including at The EARL tonight in Atlanta with Paralyzer and Pony League.

Natural Child’s Monomania Picks:
