Shaky Knees Music Festival just dropped it’s 2020 lineup featuring headliners The Black Keys, The Smashing Pumpkins and The Strokes. Set for May 1st through 3rd, the Atlanta-based rock festival will take place for the third year in a row at Central Park in Midtown.
3 Day tickets for the 2020 festival go on sale at noon, eastern time for $195 for General Admission, $332 for GA+, $665 for VIP, and $1600 for Platinum. What are these GA+ and Platinum levels? GA+ comes with a private retreat with seating and shade, air conditioned restrooms, full service bar with drinks for purchase and complimentary water and soft drinks. If you dare to go Platinum, you’ll get onstage viewing on the Peachtree Stage, front of stage viewing areas and viewing decks, complimentary bar, hors d’ouevres, and dinner, etc. etc. Oh plus, daily acoustic performance by a Shaky Knees artist in the Platinum Lounge.

We also know that Shaky Knees has always provided a great experience for VIP level ticket holders, but if you are like the majority of us that sadly can’t afford that scrumptious sounding Platinum level, General Admission will be just fine for a festival that has proved itself one of the best run festivals in the US over the last six years. The great news is that for $20, you will be able to secure your 3 day ticket today on the layaway plan well before any price increases. Get your tickets here at noon today.
Other fun things ticket wise, there is an Ambassador Program where you can sell tickets to earn rewards or a free ticket for yourself amongst other upgrades. They have also introduced the Group Rewards program where you and your friends can earn rewards such as a shoutout on the jumbotrons, a group photo by a festival photographer or even expedited entry.
Despite changing locations throughout the city of Atlanta since it’s beginning in Old Fourth Ward, Shaky Knees Music Festival has continued to grow each year while maintaining the charm that it started with in 2013. The word is out, and Shaky Knees is now on the map as a destination festival worthy of bringing festival goers from around the US to show off our city. Each year Shaky Knees has featured world renowned artists, strong “middle of the lineup” artists that attract rabid fans, and always plenty of new discoveries that have gone on to bigger things. It looks like this year will be no different with the headliners sure to bring in the fans in droves and a lot to look forward to throughout the lineup. This one is sure to have everyone talking and debating. We are already getting excited about names like Phoebe Bridgers, Orville Peck, White Reaper, and especially locals Lunar Vacation, and of course, Delta Spirit getting back together. SK2020 is looking like another exciting festival here in the heart of Atlanta.
Check back here in the coming months as we preview the festival lineup further, plus next year we still have to look forward to Late Night Show announcements, then it will be time to plan out those tough decisions once the schedule is announced. May 1st can’t come soon enough.
