The year is half way over already and it’s time to do a little reflecting back. There has been albums by huge artists released this year, some with many great songs but maybe didn’t have an impact as a top to bottom album. While other more unknown bands on this list have struck our chords much more.
We can say with certainty that 2015 already has quite a few GREAT albums that will stand the test of time and definitely will be up there on the end of the year list like 100 Watt Horse, Father John Misty, Andrew Bryant, Algiers, etc.
The year is still young though, some albums will keep our attention throughout the year, while others fade. Some other albums will be brought to life through live shows, while others will continue to challenge and grow on you throughout the year. Albums that didn’t make this list will be revisited and may have that sudden impact. It’s too early to set in stone any kind of order to this list, let’s have the rest of the year play out first before announcing an official order.
