Shaky Knees Music Festival Announces 2025 Late Night Shows

0

Shaky Knees Music Festival just dropped their 2025 Late Night Shows lineup! These bonus concerts occur after the main festival grounds are closed at venues around Atlanta on both Friday, September 19, and Saturday, September 20. Featuring some of the festival’s most exciting acts in more intimate settings, these shows are the perfect way to cap off a day, whether you are planning to attend the actual festival itself or not, yet keeping the music going late into the night.

As a reminder, these shows are not included with your festival ticket and have limited availability, so be prepared to purchase tickets as soon as they go on sale. Mark your calendars: tickets go on sale this Friday, August 1, at 10 a.m. ET! They are known to sell out quickly, so act accordingly. A portion of each ticket sale will be donated to the Songs For Kids Foundation.

Other reminder, they are called Late Night Shows for a reason. The listed times for these shows is Doors – 11:00pm. They don’t start at 11….

Friday, September 19

Friday night is packed with a variety of acts across multiple venues. Hard rockers Highly Suspect will be taking over the Masquerade – Heaven stage, while Josh Conway (The Marías) will be spinning a DJ set in the Masquerade – Hell. The Masquerade’s Purgatory will host Radio Free Alice, giving you two chances to see the up and coming band making waves out of Melbourne.

Outside of the Masquerade complex downtown, Friday has breakout indie stars The Backseat Lovers at Terminal West, or perhaps you are looking for more of a legendary indie performance instead of the upstarts, hello TV on The Radio who will be performing at the main Center Stage Theater. Then again, did someone say upstarts? Fast rising, high-energy Hey, Nothing from right here in Georgia is bringing their emo folk to Vinyl at Center Stage.

Last, but certainly not least, you could head over to East Atlanta at The Earl for what should be a wild set from the buzz-worthy punks, Fat Dog out of South London. This will be one to remember.

Saturday, September 20

By the time My Chemical Romance closes down Saturday of the festival, there is sure to be lines forming outside the Late Night Show venues. Legendary alt-rock band Pixies will perform at the Masquerade in Heaven for what should be a packed set full of longtime fans. Meanwhile, over in Purgatory, the all-female Austin punks, Die Spitz are set to continue their soon to be world domination with what’s been described as the best live show going right now.

One of the most highly anticipated Late Night Shows of the weekend has to be the return of another indie legend, Spoon, who will be headlining at Center Stage Theater. Every live show with Spoon is just another reminder of how extensive their catalogue is at this point. If you are looking for the next big band instead, over at Vinyl at Center Stage will be the hard hitting upstarts The Stews, straight out of Auburn, AL, who have been making noise the last few years playing all around the country.

These Late Night Shows are always just a great little bonus to what should be another great Shaky Knees Music Festival. Now go grab those tickets in 5, 4, 3….
